چکیده

Good quality and economical availability of fodder could be a substitute for crop production in the farming system dryland areas. In Pakistan, increasing demands crops animal feed require immediate attention to find viable options production. Additionally, climate change, land detritions, imbalanced use chemicals led an agro-ecological imbalance which needs focus on mitigation strategies practices. Therefore, experiment was conducted three different rainfed areas Punjab with aims increase maize by application Gibberellic acid (GA3) Selenium (Se) overcome forage scarcity issue The highest fresh biomass leaf area were recorded GA75+Se0.75 followed GA50+Se0.50 at 60 DAS. Similarly, data about silage traits indicated that more total dry matter (TDM), TDN, Crude protein (CP), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), (CF), (ADF), ash contents (AC) Afgoi compared Sohni Dhart 623. Among experimental locations, TDM, NDF, ADF AC found planted NARC URF, Koont least values these GRS, Attock. combinations growth regulators, CF, CP NDF GA50+Se0.50. above findings conclude exogenously plays promising role improvement parameters verity water stress zones.

Maize (Zea Mays L.) Growth and Yield Response to Ethephon Application under Water Stress Conditions

The aim of the present investigation was to study the growth, yield and yield components of maize (Zea mays L.) single cross 704 under different levels of irrigation, plant density, and ethephon in southern Iran where this particular crop has not yet been studied in detail. A field experiment was performed in the 2004 5 growing season at the experimental farm of the College of Agriculture, Shir...
